Nate and Monica arrived in Northwest Arkansas in January of 2007. Nate and Monica have served in ministry together for the past seven years in many different capacities. Here at CLC the Sweeney family has gained an incredible vision to reach people in their world through the ministry of encounter groups. Their goal for encounter groups, at CLC, is to see everyone get involved in some way and experience the love of Christ through relationship building and fellowship. When you get relational in a small group environment it allows you to plant roots and let them blossom, eventually producing fruit in season.

Remember that Jesus was a great supporter of small groups. He ministered to the masses, the twelve and then he had his inner circle of three. It was the perfect model. If you remember, it was this small group that turned this world upside down and spread the Gospel like wild fire in the early church.
